Why convert SVG to JPEG?
While SVG is an excellent format for vector graphics, it is not supported everywhere. Many content management systems, social media platforms, and legacy applications only accept raster formats like JPEG. Converting your SVG to a JPEG ensures your image can be displayed universally.
Does JPEG support transparency?
No, the JPEG format does not support alpha channels (transparency). When converting an SVG that contains transparent areas into a JPEG, those transparent areas will be filled with a solid background color. Our converter defaults to a white background, but you can easily change this using the color picker in the settings panel.
Do SVG files lose quality when converted to JPEG?
SVG files themselves have infinite resolution. However, when converting to JPEG (a raster format), the image is rendered at a specific pixel dimension. Furthermore, JPEG uses lossy compression. To get the best results, use a high quality setting (like 0.9 or 1.0) and choose adequate pixel dimensions for your final output.
